In Na Chao Cave, besides relics of cooking fire, animal bones, teeth, nearly other 2703 stone souvenirs are found, of which 1789 specimen are discovered in excavation pit and 914 ones are collected on cave surface. The collection of Na Chao shows the identification of manipulating technique and tool of souvenirs discovered in excavation pit and cave surface. Most of Na Chao tools are manipulated from pebble with the same size and shape.
In term of manipulation technique tools of Na Chao cave are similar to that of Dan Cum, which is mostly pebble cleaving and Sumatralitl technique, but blade repairing technique is not common. If Dan Cum ruins is typical for Hoa Binh culture, Nam Chao ruins are the transition of Hoa Binh culture, Na Chao ruins are the transition of Hoa Binh culture and Grindstone culture Ha Giang land. According to general study of archeological souvenirs, researchers claim that Na Chao belongs to development period of Hoa Binh culture whose age is about 9000 to 10000 from present. Thanks to the discovery of Na Chao cave as well as relationship study between caves and previous and post discovered relics, Na Chao is considered a relic of key position period of Age transition: from the Old stone age to the New one, from age of hunting, collecting to Age of cultivating and breeding, creating a very first foundation of civilized social development.
In 2001, Na Chao cave was recognized as National archeological relic by Ministry of Culture Information.
