Puong cave locates on Lung Nham limestone mountains in the north of Ba Be national park, far from Cho Ra town, Ba Be suburban district about 15km to the southwest.
The cavern ceiling is more than 20 m high, the average width is 30m, and the cavern heart is poetic Nang River flowing through with the length of nearly 30m. There are many beautiful stalactites and stone pillars in the cavern. The cavern is inhabited by 23 species of thousand of bats.
Passing Puong cavern, going down with Nang River about 8km, we arrive Ba Be Lake, and going 3km further, it is Dau Dang waterfall.
